MOOSE JAW, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises residents that geotechnical drilling activities related to the City’s Slope Monitoring Program will occur on Monday, August 31, 2026, in Tatawâw Park.

Drilling will take place at the south end of the Wild Animal Park Bridge.

Work will be completed by the City’s retained geotechnical consultant and hired drilling company, and will include:

• Drilling a borehole
• Collecting soil samples for laboratory testing
• Installing equipment to monitor groundwater levels and slope movement over time

This work will help improve understanding of local geology and support future assessment or remediation planning.

Residents may observe drilling equipment, contractor vehicles, and short-duration access adjustments on and near the bridge.

The City of Moose Jaw will provide any construction updates under City News on MooseJaw.ca or on the free City of Moose Jaw app.
