Bur Oak (Quercus macropcarpa):  Large tree with dark green, lobed leaves that turn bronze-yellow in fall.  Produces acorns and has thick furrowed bark. Good for use as a large specimen tree, shade tree, and/or boulevard tree.  Slow growing, long lived tree. Height: 24 m. Width: 18 m. Full sun. Zone 2
