Monthly Passes
Use a monthly pass for convenience and economy. The pass provides unlimited rides for a full calendar month. Passes must be shown upon boarding, and they may only be used by the person whose signature appears on the back of the pass. Transit personnel have the right to confiscate monthly passes they feel are being used fraudulently.
Monthly passes are also available for Paratransit clients. All Paratransit clients must be registered (see Paratransit section for details).
Annual Senior Citizen Passes
An annual transit pass is available to Moose Jaw residents over the age of 60 years. The annual pass may be purchased in December of the preceding year.
Discounted Passes
For those on social assistance, the City of Moose Jaw has partnered with the Ministry of Social Services to make monthly passes available at a discounted rate. Current proof of participation in an eligible program is required - a cheque stub, a letter from the program or a bank statement that clearly states the customer’s name, the program name and the date for the month of pass purchase will be accepted. The following programs are eligible:
SIS - Saskatchewan Income Support
SEI - Saskatchewan Employment Incentive
SAID – Saskatchewan Assured Income Disability
SES – Saskatchewan Employment Supplement
There is no visual distinction on the passes, however, proof of participation in one of the above programs must be presented at the time of purchase. For more details, contact the Transit office at 306.694.4488.
