City of Moose Jaw Transit Division
Transit Information
Moose Jaw Transit provides fixed route service from Monday through Saturday on four routes, which converge in the downtown core in the vicinity of City Hall and the Mae Wilson theatre. Additional coverage is offered on regular school days to high school students on our School Extra runs. Paratransit Service is offered from Monday to Saturday. Moose Jaw Transit does not operate on Sundays or statutory holidays.
Regular transit service is provided on modern, accessible vehicles equipped with lowering boarding platforms and loading ramps, as well as two wheelchair spaces to accommodate customers with special needs. Travelling by bicycle or with a stroller? Ask your transit driver for assistance in securing your item on a front-mounted bike rack or inside the bus.
Electronic destination signs display the route numbers and names on the curbside and rear of each bus. The route names reflect the areas of the city served by the routes.
Bus stops are placed along each route at locations that are practical based on distance and roadway geometry. Stops are placed at or adjacent to major intersections and every two to three blocks, and are located within walking distance of most areas of the city.
Benches and shelters are located at busy bus stops and in locations where weather may be a factor in passenger comfort. If you witness a bench or shelter being damaged, please call Moose Jaw Police Service at 911. To report vandalism, please ‘Report an Issue’ and select ‘Transit’, or download the City of Moose Jaw app and select ‘Report an Issue’ and then select ‘Transit’.
