Parks & Facilities
The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the upkeep of a wide range of facilities including indoor ice arenas, swimming pools, sportsgrounds, walking trails, outdoor rinks and skating pads, playgrounds and ornamental parks.
The Parks Division is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the City’s green spaces and urban forest areas.
Mowing of City owned properties, boulevard tree planting and pruning are all duties assigned to this division.
Main Street Adopt a Bench Program: The City of Moose Jaw Adopt a Bench Program allows the opportunity for groups and individuals to transform a Main Street bench into a colourful work of art. The goal of the program is to create community pride and add some colour to the downtown core through artistic expression. Please refer to the Main Street Adopt a Bench Program Application Form for additional details on the program and application process.
