Indoor Skating Rinks

Check out your neighbourhood outdoor rinks this winter!

Parks & Recreation strives to try to get the outdoor rinks ready for the Christmas season (mid to end of December) – Weather Permitting. The lights will automatically come on 5:00pm – 10:00pm daily once the rink is deemed ready for use.

 

2018-19 OUTDOOR RINKS

Rinks that will be operational (weather permitting) for the 2018-19 winter season are:

Kinfield Outdoor Rink: 100 Block Grandview Street West
East End Rink: 9th Avenue & Ominica Street East
Henleaze skating pad: 1100 Block Henleaze Ave
Kinfield Rink: 100 Block Grandview Street West
Moose Square Rink: 600 Block Stadacona Street West
Regal Heights Rink: 1400 Block 13th Avenue. Northwest
Ross Wells Rink (Clark Gillies): Ross Crescent & Oxford Street East
Smith Park Rink: 1200 Block Hastings Street
Sunningdale Rink: Daffodil Drive
West End Rink: 10th Avenue & Athabasca Street West
Westheath Rink: Wellington Dr. & Spadina Dr.
Wood Lily Rink: 466 Wood Lily Drive

 

CROKICURL

Crokicurl will once again be at Elgin Park, 8th Avenue & Hall Street West.

Cokicurl combines two iconic Canadian pastimes, crokinole and curling, to become an exciting new outdoor sport!

SKATING OVAL

Kiwanis River Park Skating Oval – 305 River Drive (Wakamow)

The public is welcome to skate on the Oval anytime during the operating season (mid-December to February).

The heated shelter at the Oval is open to the public during the following times (weather permitting):

Mon-Tues 8:30am-4:30pm
Wednesday-Sunday 9am – 9pm 

When the Kiwanis Speed Skating Club is using the ice, it is requested that the public skate on the inside lanes so that the club can practice on the outside lanes.
