City of Moose Jaw Property Tax bills can now be paid online by via your credit card. The service is provided by Plastiq Inc.

Plastiq is an independent third party service provider will allow you to use your credit card through their secure online system. A link to the website for tax payments is provided below. Please check their website on the Pricing Tab for the latest information on their fees.

This is an online service only. Credit card payments for property taxes cannot be processed in person at City Hall.

Please remember that you the property owner are responsible for ensuring that the City of Moose Jaw receives your tax payment by the payment due date indicated. When using a third party service such as Plastiq you must thoroughly understand the terms and conditions of the service you are using. Avoid late payment fees!

It can take up to 6 business days for Plastiq to process your credit card payment for property taxes. Please allow sufficient time for the payment to be processed to avoid any penalty or late payment charges. The City of Moose Jaw will process your payment on the day we receive the funds from Plastiq, not the date the payment is made or charged to your credit card. What do I need to pay by credit card?

Tax payers will need:

• The 9 digit property number roll number found on the Property Tax Notice
• The balance owing from your Property Tax Notice
• Your credit card information

There will be a service fee for all transactions processed through Plastiq. The fee handles the payment handling and processing charges. Please check their website on the Pricing Tab for the latest information on their fees. The City of Moose Jaw does not receive any part of the convenience fee charged by Plastiq. You are paying the independent service provider. Two transactions will appear on your credit card bill for each payment processed, one for the amount of the bill payment and a second separate charge from Plastiq for the service fee.
