Tax Phase-In Policy
The purpose of the City of Moose Jaw Tax Phase-In Policy is to attract and retain business in Moose Jaw through the re-use of current infrastructure including protection of heritage buildings with an overall emphasis on job creation and an increased tax base.
The policy focuses on manufacturing, processing, tourism, retail and advanced technology. It also provides provision for heritage properties and unique incentive requests. The policy does not specifically include commercial/office building redevelopment.
The final amount of the tax phase-in will be a decision of City Council.
