How To Be A Playground Leader

Summer Program Leaders include Playground Leaders, Yara Centre Day Camp Leaders and Notoriously Active Summer Happenings (NASH UNIT) Leaders.   Summer Leaders must possess knowledge and experience in children and youth programming, hold HIGH FIVE ® Principles of Healthy Child Development and Standard First Aid and CPR. Leaders over the age of 18yrs must provide a criminal record check.  Please visit the Employment Opportunities page for details.

HIGH FIVE ® Principles of Healthy Child Development Course - A one-day training that teaches front-line leaders how to enhance the quality of the programs they are delivering. It provides in-depth knowledge of the HIGH FIVE ® Principles of Healthy Child Development so front-line leaders understand what they need to do to ensure each child’s social, emotional and cognitive needs are met.

Join us April 11 or June 17, 1-5pm Cost: $60 for Principles of Healthy Childhood Development. Register online today.

Standard First Aid and CPR courses run all year at the Kinsmen Sportsplex.
