Tree in Memory Program
The Tree in Memory Program allows you to have a tree planted to commemorate your loved one in City parks, along trails, and in green spaces including Crescent Park and both City Cemeteries. We have provided a list of suggested tree species; however other species of trees may be planted if they are suitable to the site. The City will plant, water and care for the tree. Please note that plaques to mark the tree are not allowed. Trees are guaranteed for one full year after planting.
The standard cost for a Tree in Memory is $300 plus applicable taxes per tree. This fee is subject to change and additional fees may apply for requests outside the normal scope of the program (ex request for an expectionally large tree to be planted).
To apply for a Tree in Memory, please fill out and return the form found here.
