Living in Moose Jaw
If you want to travel outside of Canada, make sure you know the rules for your particular immigration status and that you have the right documents. Plan ahead because you may have to wait months to get the correct documents. Travel within Canada is easier, but be sure to carry your Immigration documents with you at all times. You must also be sure to have the correct documents for your children. This is very important if you intend to travel by air. Carry your passport too. If you have children in school programs that travel outside of the country, you will need to find out in plenty of time, so you can get the correct documents. You can find most major grocery stores in Moose Jaw. There are also smaller grocery stores in the City. Moose Jaw has one large mall – the Town ‘n Country Mall at the top of Main Street. There are plans to make this Mall bigger. Most other stores stand alone or are in smaller strip malls. City buses travel to, or close to, all major stores. The major grocery stores are Safeway (downtown), Moose Jaw Co-op (downtown), South Hill Fine Foods (South Hill), Westmount Food Market (South Hill), Real Canadian Superstore (North side of City). Community Supported Agriculture (CSAs)
A CSA is a system where the grower (farmer) charges a fee prior to the start of the growing season and in return the customer receives a share of the fresh produce from the garden. Follow these links for information on some locals CSAs. though there may be others:

Cheaper clothes may be found at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Most of their clothes are used. The clothes will be clean and in good condition. For Salvation Army information click on the info link.
Moose Jaw has several large stores for clothes, appliances (such as stoves or washing machines) and other goods. The major ones are Sears, Walmart, Real Canadian Superstore, and Canadian Tire.
