MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to announce that water main replacement construction is complete on Saskatchewan St. E from Main St. to 3rd NE and the road is paved and open to traffic. 2022 Water Main Replacement construction continues at the following locations:
Grandview St W – 6th Ave SW to 9th Ave SW: 6th Ave SW intersection and 7th Ave SW intersection are open to traffic, and the intersections of 8th Ave SW and 9th Ave SW remain closed to traffic. Business access to Rodo’s Pizza is available via the south alley. 8th Ave SW intersection’s are closed to traffic.
Grandview St W – 9th Ave SW to 10th Ave SW (Starting June 21st, 2022) 9th Ave SW will remain closed, and 10th Ave SW intersection will be open until further notice.
Ninth Ave SW – Duffield St to Vaughan St.: Both Duffield St and Vaughan St. intersections remain open.
Fairford St E – 3rd Ave NE to 5th Ave NE: 3rd Ave NE and 5th Ave NE intersections remain open, and the 4th Ave NE intersection is closed until further notice.
1st Ave NW – Oxford St W to Hall St W: Oxford St W intersection remains open and the Hall St. W intersection is closed until further notice. Beginning Wednesday, June 22, construction will move south to Ross St. and the 1st Ave NW/Ross St. intersection will be closed. Central Collegiate access is available via 2nd Ave NW and Oxford St.
Carleton St – 9th Ave to 10th Ave NW: Street will be closed for surface works beginning June 20. The 9th Ave NW intersection will remain open and 10th Ave NW intersection will be closed.
Other locations selected for water main replacement in 2022 are:
- Athabasca St E from 2nd Ave NE to 3rd Ave NE
- 2nd Ave NE Athabasca St. E to Hochelaga St. E
- Main St. S from Grandview St. to Home St.
- Grandview St. E from Main St. S to 1st Ave SE
