Watch for City Crews During Crack Sealing
July 10, 2026
MOOSE JAW, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises residents to watch for City crews while crack sealing takes place at various locations through August 2026.
Work has started, with crews actively repairing cracks by applying sealant on a variety of arterial, collector, and local roadways. The purpose of this work is to maintain the structural integrity of pavement and extend the service life of these roads.
Road closures may be in place for short periods while crack sealing occurs. The City asks motorist to remain outside of the barricades and follow all temporary signage for the safety of everyone. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls.
This work supports the City’s 2026-2029 Strategic Plan, specifically the strategic priority of Financial Responsibility & Transparent Governance, as this provides a cost-saving opportunity by maximizing the lifespan of existing infrastructure.
If you have a concern, please use the ‘Report an Issue’ function on the City’s website or the free City of Moose Jaw app.
