Moose Jaw, SK – At the regular meeting of City Council Monday, August 22, Moose Jaw City Council voted unanimously to proclaim Friday, September 30 as the National Day of Truth & Reconciliation in Moose Jaw to honour Survivors of Residential Schools, their families, and communities. September 30 will be recognized as a Statutory Holiday for all City employees and the City encourages all residents to attend Truth & Reconciliation events.
The City is pleased to share that on September 30 and October 1, the Wakamow Aboriginal Community Association (WACA) is hosting their 1st annual Powwow & Gathering in Wakamow Valley. Full details in the poster below.
