Two-Part Highland Road Paving Project Begins August 6

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that a paving project on Highland Road will begin Thursday, August 6, 2020.
The project will be completed in two parts.
Paving on the south portion of Highland Road will begin Thursday, August 6, 2020, including the area from Thatcher Drive East to just north of McKenzie Lane.
The construction area will be closed to traffic while paving occurs and the project is expected to be completed by 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, weather permitting.
All businesses in the area will be open and access is available. Access to area businesses is available via McKenzie Lane and Highland Road via Diefenbaker Drive.
The paving of the North section of Highland Road will begin Monday, August 10, 2020 and occur between the area south of Haultain Dr. and the Highway 1 approach at Diefenbaker Drive. The exit to Highland Road from Highway 1 will be closed during construction.
Between August 10-14, access to the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital can be gained by utilizing Diefenbaker Drive via Main Street North.
The construction area will be closed to traffic while paving occurs and the project is expected to be completed by 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, weather permitting.
All businesses in the area will be open and access is available on Highland Road (up to the construction site).
Detour signs will be posted. The City asks all drivers to obey signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
