Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that further development of the East Feeder Main Replacement Phase 4 project will extend the closure of traffic to Town and Country Drive from Main Street North to Civic Center Drive until November 6, 2020 (weather permitting).

Selected contractor KMS Construction Ltd. continues to perform the feeder main replacement work which requires a full closure of the road. Furthermore, work progresses on the east and west sides of Main Street North. This work is necessary to complete the final tie-in of the east feeder main to the City’s High Service Reservoir Pumphouse, which stores two-thirds of the City’s potable water supply.

Traffic signage and barricading will be in place to accommodate this disruption, and the City reminds drivers that the speed limit is reduced to 30 km/h on Main St. near Town and Country Drive. Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution in the area and to obey all posted detours and signs.

Thank you for your patience while the City works to rebuild our infrastructure to ensure reliable services for our residents.
