Thatcher Drive West Paving Project and CN Tracks Upgrade Begins August 23

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that a paving project and CN train tracks upgrade on Thatcher Drive West will begin Monday, August 23, 2021.
Crews will pave Thatcher Drive West from VLA Gate to 13th Avenue NW, including both VLA Gate & 13th Avenue NW intersections, and perform a CN track upgrade.
The construction area will be closed for the traffic while paving occurs and the project is expected to be completed by 10:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 weather permitting.

Drivers will need to take alternate routes throughout the duration of the work.
Recommended alternate access are as follows:
- Iron Bridge residents: Use access from Highway #1
- VLA residents: Use 11th Avenue NW and/or 9th Avenue NW then Normandy Drive
- 13th Avenue NW, Simcoe & surrounding area residents: Use Rutherford and/or Grace Street
The City asks all drivers to obey signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
