Temporary Water Disruptions and Road Closure Due to 4th Avenue SW Water Main Break

MOOSE JAW, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that due to a water main break at 4th Avenue SW near Home Street W, residents in the following locations are currently experiencing a disruption in water services, which is anticipated to last until approximately 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026:
- 4th Avenue SW from Home Street W to Lillooet Street W
- Home Street W from 4th Avenue SW to 5th Avenue SW
Crews are on site to complete repairs and detours are in place, with 4th Avenue SW closed between Home Street W and Lillooet Street W. Motorists are asked to avoid travelling southbound on the 4th Avenue Bridge while this work is underway.
Pedestrian access is expected to remain open in the area.
The City reminds the public to remain outside of the barricades and follow all temporary signage for the safety of everyone. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls.
