MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to announce that Swimming Lessons at the Kinsmen Sportsplex will resume beginning Monday, March 15.
Public Health has announced that groups of up to eight (8) minor participants may engage in activities in one facility.
“We are excited to welcome back families to their Red Cross swimming lessons that were paused in November,” said Shelly Howe, Recreation Services Supervisor. “Swimming lessons that combine water safety skills and education are an important part of keeping children and families safe in, on and around water.” With warmer weather approaching and the presence of open water in our community, swimming lessons and aquatic advanced leadership training are vital services provided by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Classes for participants that were paused in November 2020 will resume the week of March 15, and registered families have been notified. A Spring Break session of Red Cross Swimming Lessons will be available for registration beginning March 18. The remainder of new classes for the spring will be available for registration beginning March 25.
For all class dates, times and to register use the Online Recreation Registration button on the home page of www.moosejaw.ca or with the free City of Moose Jaw app.
