Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises routine bridge inspections will be conducted from May 13th to May 22nd, 2025, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

These inspections are part of a standard, proactive maintenance program designed to ensure public safety and the continued integrity of our infrastructure. Inspections are conducted on a three-year cycle and are a routine, precautionary measure that supports infrastructure longevity, safety, and maintenance record-keeping.

The inspections will take place at various bridge locations, as shown on the accompanying map. While no bridges will be closed during this period, both vehicle and pedestrian traffic may be restricted in some areas. Speed limits will be restricted up to 30 km/h during inspections, depending on the site.

The public is asked to observe posted signage, reduce speed in work zones, and maintain a safe distance from inspection crews. The City asks residents remain outside of barricades and follow all temporary signage for the safety of everyone. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls.

The City appreciates resident’s patience during these inspections.

If you have a concern, please use the ‘Report an Issue’ function on the City’s website or the free City app.
