Street Cleaning Operations Progress to Zone 9
Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that the Street Cleaning Program has progressed to Zone 9 this week, with scheduled sweeping expected to be completed by end of day on June 25, 2025.
Following the completion of the regular sweeping schedule, the City will maintain a small crew as needed for arterial and collector roads during the summer and will undertake fall sweeping to clean leaf litter from storm drains as time and weather allow.
Reminder: new to the program this year is that locations have been following collection zones (click here for the map), providing more efficient operations and assist with communication to residents.
Residents who believe their street may have been missed are encouraged to submit a Request for Service through the City app. Please note that to maintain operational efficiency, crews will not be returning to areas where parked vehicles obstructed equipment during initial sweeping operations.
The City offers these reminders to residents to help ensure successful street cleaning operations:
- Watch for orange cones & signage located in the street/parking lane to advise of upcoming operations on your street.
- Do not park on the street from 6am to 6pm during operations on your street.
- Pass on the information to your neighbours.
The City asks residents to stay away from working crews and follow all temporary signage for the safety of everyone. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls. For more information, including enforcement of No Parking signage, visit the City of Moose Jaw’s Street Cleaning page on the City’s website.
