Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that 9th Avenue SW will be closed beginning Tuesday, October 20 from Warner St. to Highway 363.

The closure is necessary to repair a valve at the intersection of 9th Avenue SW and Warner St.

The closure will not affect southbound heavy trucks that need to access Thunder Creek Pork and Viterra.

Heavy trucks heading southbound past Lillooett St. will need to use 24th Ave NW, south to Highway 363 then east to 9th Ave SW. Signage will be in place.

Northbound heavy trucks will also use Highway 363 and 24th Avenue as a detour.

The repair is anticipated to be complete and the road open to traffic by Monday, October 26 (weather permitting).

The City asks all drivers to obey posted signage and to exercise caution in the area for the safety of everyone.
