Moose Jaw, SK – Regional ticketing provider SaskTix, owned by the City of Moose Jaw and powered by Paciolan, a leading provider of ticketing and marketing solutions for live entertainment, has entered into an agreement with the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League (WHL) to power the team’s ticketing solutions, beginning this Raiders season at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert.
“We are very excited to welcome the Prince Albert Raiders to the SaskTix family,” said Jim Puffalt, Moose Jaw City Manager. “Paciolan has a proven track record with many venues across Canada and North America, and we look forward bringing this technology through our regional Paciolan platform, SaskTix, to provide a state-of-the-art experience to Raiders fans for the start of the 2021/22 season.”
Prince Albert Raiders fans will take advantage of advanced mobile ticketing experiences powered by SaskTix. Fans can manage their own online account, purchase mobile tickets, have them delivered via text message and various other options, scan them upon entry with their phone or seamlessly transfer tickets for events they cannot attend. With NFC contactless technology, fans will also be able to have the option to safely enter the venue without the need to print or touch paper-based tickets.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring the SaskTix ticketing platform and brand to the Prince Albert Raiders this season, as they prepare to welcome back their fans to the Art Hauser Centre,” said Ryan MacIvor, General Manager of SaskTix.ca. “SaskTix is the perfect fit for their model and Raiders fans will enjoy the many benefits SaskTix has to offer, from season renewals, paperless ticket options, transferring of tickets through text messaging and much more.”
“We’re excited to be able to take our ticketing to the next level with features including fully mobile and contactless capabilities,” said Mike Scissons, Business Manager for the Prince Albert Raiders. “The Paciolan ticketing system, which is the backbone of SaskTix, is used by 10 other teams in the Western Hockey League, so the company’s knowledge and familiarity with the WHL will be able to give our fans what we believe to be the best possible customer experience.”
