MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw will begin plowing residential roads across the city Thursday, February 4.

“Over the last few days our crews have been addressing problematic residential roads where ruts were four inches or deeper, which is the threshold in our Winter Maintenance Policy,” said Darrin Stephanson, Director of Public Works & Utilities. “It is a city-wide issue and beginning February 4 we will start a shallow plow to remove ruts on all residential roads that require it in Moose Jaw.”

“We will announce our plowing locations ahead of time and ask that residents move their vehicles from the street to allow our crews to operate safely and efficiently,” Stephanson added.

It will take approximately four weeks (weather permitting) to complete residential plowing in all neighbourhoods and the City will issue notifications about our plowing locations on the City website (www.MooseJaw.ca), our social media accounts (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram) and with the City of Moose Jaw app, free to download from your favourite app store.
