Reduced Water Pressure Possible With Temporary Northeast Reservoir Shutdown
September 24, 2021
MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw advises that the City of Moose Jaw’s Engineering Services Department have a planned shutdown of Northeast Reservoir (NER) Pumphouse starting Sunday, September 26, 2021.
It is anticipated that the NER Pumphouse will be back in service on Friday, October 1, pending regulatory water sample test results. During this period, there will be NO water supply interruption but reduced water pressure may be experienced by some properties.
The purpose of this shutdown is to allow crews to carry out the demolition of the old influent line. The new line from the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant to our NER has been installed and is in operation.
