Public Skating And Shinny Programs Underway at Moose Jaw Arenas

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to announce that Public Skating, Sticks and Pucks and Shinny programs have begun.
The Kinsmen Sportsplex and Bert Hunt arenas are open, and the Wally Boschuk arena opens October 15, 2020.
The City is also pleased to offer a series of free activities including:
- Free Skating at the Wally Boschuk arena. Beginning October 16, free skating will be offered for families between 6:45-7:45 p.m. and between 8:00-9:00 p.m. for adults.
- Free turf time. Every Friday between 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Yara Centre.
- Free family swimming every Wednesday from 9:15-11:00 a.m. and every Sunday from 7:00-8:45 p.m.
You must book ahead for all programs. Bookings and all COVID-19 safety precautions can be found by using the Online Recreation Registration link on the City’s website or with the free City of Moose Jaw app.
The City of Moose Jaw also reminds residents that up to 30 spectators can be seated in the bleachers at our arenas. All spectators are asked to physically distance two metres and the use of masks is strongly recommended to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
