
Possible Water Pressure Reduction With East Feeder Main Replacement Final Tie-Ins and Commissioning

MOOSE JAW – Phase Four of the City’s East Feeder Water Main Replacement project is nearing completion.
The City of Moose Jaw advises that the City’s Engineering Services Department together with KMS Construction Ltd. (General Contractor) and Associated Engineering Ltd. (Engineering Consultant) will execute the final tie-ins of new east feeder main pipe to the distribution network starting Tuesday, January 12th at 7:00 am.
It is anticipated that the new east feeder main will be commissioned and in service by Tuesday, January 19th.
During this period, there will be no water supply interruption but area residents and businesses on the east side of the city may experience reduced water pressure.

Facts about East Feeder Main Replacement Project:
- Replacement began in 2015.
- 4.2 kms of pipe replaced.
- Project cost: approximately $12.5 million.
