July 28, 2026
MOOSE JAW, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that there are upcoming disruptions to water service on Prince Crescent and Simcoe Street while valve repairs take place, with a scheduled start date of July 29, 2026.
Crews are scheduled to begin work on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and work is expected to continue to mid-week next week, pending conditions encountered during the repair process. Activities are expected to proceed in the following order:
- Valve repairs on the west side of Prince Crescent
- Valve repairs on the 1300 block of Simcoe Street
- Valve repairs towards the east side of Prince Crescent (once backfill has been completed on the west side to ensure resident access is maintained on either side of the repair).
Some residents will experience a water outage while work is underway in their area. Impacted properties will be notified via door hangers of the anticipated outage timeline for their property and any important details.
Once service is restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect, pending water quality testing results. Residents will receive a green door hanger once the boil water advisory is over in their area.
