MOOSE JAW, SK – The City of Moose Jaw and Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce congratulate husband and wife duo Orma Fraser and Kim Zillman, who have been named the “Notoriously Good Neighbours” for the month of April.

The City of Moose Jaw and Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce created the program to recognize the Notoriously Friendly, Notoriously Generous and Notoriously Kind-Hearted Moose Javians making a Notoriously Positive difference in our community.

The pair were nominated by their neighbour, Tammi MacNevin, who had a laundry list of good deeds that both Fraser and Zillman have done to warrant the nomination. “They are always there to help without any expectation of a returned favour,” MacNevin explained. “When a family member in our household was sick and needed an ambulance Orma walked over. She had every intention of handling whatever she was met with. The only words out of her mouth to me were ‘go with her and I’ll handle everything’.” MacNevin went on to say her neighbour locked up her house, took care of her pets and MacNevin’s other child while she rushed to the hospital and dealt with their emergency. She noted that there’s plenty more she could add about the pair such as lending out household items, clearing snow for her before she returns home from work, and often helps with MacNevin’s children and pets while caring for their own child as well. “I couldn’t have asked for better neighbours. Kim and Orma make this city shine!”

As an official “Notoriously Good Neighbour”, Zillman and Fraser have been awarded a gift card to Smitty’s Family Restaurant.
