MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw advises that Normandy Drive between 9th Avenue NW and the east access to Marshall Crescent will be closed for a water main installation project. Crews are beginning the installation of a new water main between Normandy Drive and Neslia Place.

The closure will be in effect Friday, June 3 and the road is anticipated to be paved and reopened by Tuesday, June 7 (weather permitting).

Detours will be in effect for local traffic, and VLA Transit stops will not be available during construction. Moose Jaw Transit has added temporary stops at the intersection of 11th Avenue NW/Thatcher Drive (north side of Thatcher) and at the intersection of 9th Avenue NW/Normandy Drive to accommodate VLA residents.

The City of Moose Jaw asks all drivers to obey signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
