MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw will hold a Mayoral by-election on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

At the regular meeting of Moose Jaw City Council Monday, August 23, Council approved November 3 as the by-election date to fill the full-time role of Mayor.

Councillor Dawn Luhning was appointed Acting Mayor following the resignation of Fraser Tolmie August 18, 2021.

The call for nominations will begin September 15, with September 29 the deadline for filing nomination papers.

Further details on polling locations, advance polling dates and other by-election details will be released soon on the City’s website, MooseJaw.ca, and advertised via local media, City social media channels and the free City of Moose Jaw app.
