Moose Jaw, SK – Moose Jaw Mayor Clive Tolley has issued a statement of congratulations to SkyAlyne for being officially awarded the contract for Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) in Canada, including at 15 Wing Moose Jaw.

In a media release issued May 29, 2024, SkyAlyne (a partnership between CAE and KF Aerospace) confirmed that the Government of Canada had concluded the procurement process for the FAcT program and awarded SkyAlyne the 25-year, $11.2 billion contract that “reimagines training for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF)” and includes three aircrew training operations, including 15 Wing Moose Jaw.

“15 Wing is a key facet of Moose Jaw’s identity, and we’re excited to know that training operations at our military base have been secured for another 25 years,” said Clive Tolley, Mayor. “On behalf of City Council, we congratulate SkyAlyne on being awarded this contract, and we thank the Government of Canada for this major investment that will be #NotoriouslyImpactful to our economy and perhaps open other economic opportunities,” said Clive Tolley, Mayor.

The other aircrew training operations included in the contract are Southport (Portage La Prairie) and 17 Wing Winnipeg.
