Moose Jaw, SK – Moose Jaw mayor Clive Tolley has proclaimed Thursday, May 12 as Moose Hide Campaign Awareness Day. The Moose Hide Campaign is an Indigenous-led grassroots movement of men, boys and all Canadians – standing up to end violence against women and children. Full details can be found on their website.
Below, Mayor Tolley signs the proclamation and gets further details from Lorna Himmelspeck and Darlene Veroba from the Southern Plains Metis Local 160 in Moose Jaw. The City Hall clock tower will also be lit yellow in support of the campaign on May 12.
