Main Street Paving Project Begins Wednesday; Traffic Restrictions in Place

Moose Jaw – The City of Moose Jaw advises that traffic restrictions on Main St. North will begin Wednesday, May 4 to accommodate a Ministry of Highways paving project.
The project, part of the the Urban Highways Connector program, will commence with the paving of the exit ramp at the Highway 1 overpass. Traffic restrictions will be in place and speed will be reduced in the construction zone. Travelers should expect delays.
As the project progresses, the northbound lane of Main St. North will be paved, from the railroad tracks at Town and Country Drive, north to the Highway 1 overpass. The intersection of Main St. North and Thatcher Drive East will be eventually be impacted by this project and further traffic restrictions will be needed to accommodate the rest of the project.
The City of Moose Jaw will issue updates in advance of changes to the traffic plan.
