Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that the east, northbound lane of Main St. North between Civic Centre Drive and Thatcher Drive will remain closed through Monday, November 30, 2020.

The closure was anticipated to be lifted November 18, but has been extended due to unforeseen cirsumstances. The closure is needed to allow KMS Construction safe movement of equipment being used for installation of East Feeder water main pipe.

This is the last phase of the East Feeder water main replacement project (it began in 2015), and the last section of pipe will be connected to the High Service Reservoir Pumphouse on Grafton Avenue, adjacent to the Lynbrook golf course. The High Service Reservoir distributes potable water to over 20-thousand Moose Jaw residents.

The City of Moose Jaw reminds motorists that the speed limit in this area is 30 km/hr, and asks all drivers to obey posted signage and exercise caution for the safety of everyone.
