Letter To Mosaic Place Event Ticket Holders
June 11, 2020
Moose Jaw, SK – Jim Puffalt, City Manager with the City of Moose Jaw, has issued the following message to those holding tickets to Mosaic Place events affected by COVID-19:
To our valued customers:
We are taking this opportunity to say thank you for your continued support and patience during the unprecedented time of COVID-19. We are disappointed that we will not be entertaining you in the near future but look forward to welcoming you back when the time is right.
We regret that The ZZ Top and High Valley concerts scheduled for May had to be cancelled, leaving the task of refunding tickets purchased for those events. With the closure of the box office due to COVID-19 restrictions put in place by the governments of Saskatchewan and British Columbia, it has been challenging for us and our third-party ticket provider, Ticket Rocket (based out of British Columbia), to conduct ticket refunds in an expeditious manner.
We are pleased to announce that Ticket Rocket is now able to complete refunds for customers who purchased tickets to ZZ Top, High Valley and the cancelled WHL scheduled season. You will soon be receiving communication from Ticket Rocket on how refunds can be obtained. If you do not receive communication from Ticket Rocket by June 18, 2020, please contact the Ticket Rocket head office by email: support@ticketrocket.co.
We would also like to take this opportunity to inform our customers that the City of Moose Jaw and Ticket Rocket have made the decision to wind up their ticketing partnership at Mosaic Place effective June 1, 2020. We thank Ticket Rocket for their service and commitment to Mosaic Place over the past four years.
The City of Moose Jaw, along with Spectra Venue Management, will be working through a process at a later date relating to a new ticketing provider for Mosaic Place. For information related to Ticket Rocket please contact the Ticket Rocket team by email: support@ticketrocket.co. Questions and concerns regarding this change can be directed to the City of Moose Jaw at the attention of City Manager Jim Puffalt: jpuffalt@moosejaw.ca.
