Kinsmen Sportsplex Reopens After Chlorine Alarm

Moose Jaw, SK – The Kinsmen Sportsplex was evacuated this morning (February 7, 2022) due to a chlorine alarm at approximately 8:30am. All staff and swimmers immediately and safely left the building, and the Moose Jaw Fire Department responded. Crews investigated and discovered a loose fitting on a metering device. Extensive testing has taken place and the issue has been resolved, allowing the Sportsplex to safely reopen for regular programming. The City of Moose Jaw thanks all customers for their patience.
