Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises residents of the following updates to road construction projects:

  • The 200 block of Main St. North is open to traffic. The road was expected to be closed today to complete paving for a valve replacement project. The asphalt plant is not in operation today so crews will complete the paving in conjunction with planned water main replacement at the High St. & Main St. intersection at a later date this summer.
  • There is a sinkhole at the intersection of 9th Avenue NW and High St. Eastbound traffic on High St. is restricted from turning south onto 9th Avenue while repairs are made. The restriction is expected to be lifted July 1, weather permitting.
  • Paving on 5th Avenue SW between High St. south to the 4th Avenue bridge access continues. Southbound access to the 4th Avenue bridge is available via 3rd Avenue NW or Manitoba St. The project is expected to be complete Saturday, July 4, weather permitting.

The City reminds residents that all area businesses remain open during construction. We ask that all drivers obey posted signage and detours and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
