Intersection Upgrades Progressing at Multiple Locations

MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to provide an update on intersection upgrades across the City:

9th Avenue NW and Caribou St. (in conjunction with water main replacement):

  • Underground work is complete.
  • Sidewalk and roadwork is ongoing.
  • Traffic loops have been coordinated with surface works.
  • Expected completion October 22 (weather permitting).

Thatcher Crossing:

  • Medians have been installed.
  • Poles are expected to arrive mid-November.
  • Electrical work and commissioning to be completed in November after poles arrive.

1st  Avenue NW and High St.:

  • Poles will arrive mid-November (supplier delay pushed delivery date back).
  • Electrical work and commissioning to be completed in November after poles arrive.
  • Intersection will function as a four-way stop in the interim.

The City of Moose Jaw asks all drivers to obey posted signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
