MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw advises intersection upgrade projects are set to begin Tuesday, May 11.

Crews will be replacing existing traffic poles and foundations with new poles, signals and underground wiring at the following locations:

  • 9th Avenue NW & Caribou St W.
  • 1st NW & Athabasca St. W.

Roads will not be closed during construction, but lane restrictions will be in place and each intersection will operate as a four-way stop during construction. Both projects are estimated to be complete by Friday, June 18 (weather permitting).

The City of Moose Jaw asks drivers to obey posted signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
