Infrastructure Renewal on Coteau St. West Begins April 29; Main St. May 6

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that Phase Nine of the City’s Infrastructure Renewal Program begins Monday, April 29, 2024, on the 1100 block of Coteau Street SW.

Contractors will begin the process of closing Coteau Street SW on Monday from 11th Avenue SW to 12th Avenue SW. The 12th Avenue SW intersection will be closed, and the 11th Avenue intersection will remain open. Detours will be in place.

Additionally, infrastructure renewal scheduled for the 0 block of Main St. North will begin May 6.

Crews continue to complete Phase Eight work from 2023 that was interrupted by weather, including:

500-800 blocks of Fairford Street W. Beginning April 29, crews will begin surface work, including milling and paving.

16th Avenue NW from Caribou Street to Stadacona Street: Construction is ongoing with surfacing work beginning in the coming weeks.

The City of Moose Jaw reminds residents that all area businesses remain open during construction and access will be available via sidewalks and temporary walkways.

Drivers are reminded to obey all temporary traffic signage and exercise caution in construction zones to keep everyone safe. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls.
