Infrastructure Renewal Continues, Main St. Underground Work Complete

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that Phase Nine of the City’s Infrastructure Renewal Program continues in two separate, high-traffic locations in the city.

Main Street from Manitoba St. to River St. – Underground water main construction has concluded and crews have begun surface work.

River St. between Main St. and 1st Ave NE – Infrastructure renewal construction, including water main replacement, has begun.

The Manitoba St. and High St. intersections remain open to traffic and paid parking stalls are open on neighbouring streets and throughout the downtown core.

Coteau Street SW from 9th Ave SW to 12th Avenue SW – Construction continues, with Coteau St. closed between 9th Ave SW and 12th Ave SW. The 9th Ave SW and 12th Ave SW intersections remain open.

16th Avenue NW from Caribou Street to Stadacona Street – Paving is complete and the road has reopened to traffic.

The City of Moose Jaw reminds residents that all area businesses remain open during construction and access will be available via sidewalks and temporary walkways. Also, all work in these four locations Is dependent on favorable weather conditions.

Drivers are reminded to obey all temporary traffic signage and exercise caution in construction zones to keep everyone safe. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls.
