Infrastructure Renewal Continues, Main St. Reopens to Traffic

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that Phase Nine of the City’s Infrastructure Renewal Program continues in two separate, high-traffic locations in the city.

Main Street from Manitoba Street to High Street is in the final stages and will reopen to traffic June 7, 2024. The section of High St. to River St. on Main St N for Road Renewal will also reopen to traffic on June 7. However, construction crews will continue work on the 0 block of River St. E between Main St and 1st Avenue NE, with the 1st Avenue NE and River St. intersection closing to traffic on June 7.

Coteau Street SW from 9th Ave SW to 12th Avenue SW – Closed between 9th Ave SW and 12th Ave SW, and the 9th Ave SW and 12th Ave SW intersections remain open. Work is ongoing.

The City of Moose Jaw reminds residents that all area businesses remain open during construction and access will be available via sidewalks and temporary walkways. Also, all work in these locations is dependent on favorable weather conditions.

Drivers are reminded to obey all temporary traffic signage and exercise caution in construction zones to keep everyone safe. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls.
