High St & Thatcher Drive Restricted for Storm & Water Infrastructure Repairs

MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw advises that portions of High St West from 9th Ave NW to 16th Ave NW will be closed for Storm and Water Infrastructure repair work.

The project will be performed in two phases that will affect access to multiple businesses along the 900 to 1200 Blocks of High St W beginning next week. The project is anticipated to be completed by Friday October 13th, 2023, weather permitting.

The first phase of work, on Oct 10th and 11th, will be water infrastructure repairs in front of 1220 High St W (Yara Centre).  High St W will be closed from 16th Ave NW to 12th Ave NW. The second phase of work, on October 12th and 13th, for storm infrastructure repairs in front of 1010 High St West (City Complex) High St W will be closed from 11th Ave NW to 10th Ave NW.

Heavy truck traffic will be detoured during this project. West of the closure, heavy truck traffic will detour via Caribou St W to 24th Ave W and Hwy 363. East of the closure, heavy truck traffic will detour via Manitoba St E to 9th Ave NE and Thatcher Dr E.
