MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw is proud to continue to help residents and visitors Find A Safe Ride to and from their New Year’s celebrations.

This year marks the 36th edition of the program which offers free Moose Jaw Transit service for anyone celebrating the New Year, whether at a local establishment or at a private gathering within City limits.

Regular fixed-route service will run from 7:55 p.m. on December 31, 2025, through 3:15 a.m. on January 1, 2026.

“Safety is our top priority, and this program makes it easy for everyone to celebrate responsibly,” said Mayor James Murdock. “Thanks to our funding partners and Moose Jaw Transit, you can enjoy the festivities knowing there’s a safe, free ride home waiting for you.”

Several restaurants and lounges are located within walking distance of a bus stop; however, additional bus stops have been added at popular locations such as Brown’s Social House, The Crushed Can Rec Room & Bar/Cask 82, Chillers Brew Pub and Dooly’s Billiards & Lounge.

Paratransit is also available for free as part of the Find A Safe Ride campaign – to book this service you can call Moose Jaw Transit: 306-694-4488 or email: transit@MooseJaw.ca.

The City of Moose Jaw thanks funding partners for their continued support of the Find A Safe Ride program.
