MOOSE JAW, SK – The City of Moose Jaw snow clearing efforts continue following snow that began on Wednesday and a second weather system that moved in on Friday, December 20. Residents can follow along operations with the new Snow Clearing Progress map.

City crews have reverted to Priority 1 Routes due to snowfall on Friday. Weather permitting, Priority 2 Routes will be cleared starting Saturday morning, and the Thunder Bird Viaduct (4th Avenue Bridge) will be temporarily closed Saturday as well for snow clearing.

A reminder there is no-parking on Priority 2 routes on Saturday and Priority 3 routes on Sunday as of 7am each day to continue snow clearing efforts.

Additionally, crews completed snow hauling on Main Street N overnight from Manitoba Street to Saskatchewan Street as well as Priority 1 Routes. Beginning at midnight on Friday the remainder of snow in the downtown core is set to be removed.

A map is available to view on the Streets & Roads page on the City’s website, click here, along with the Winter Maintenance Policy and the Snow Clearing Routes map. The Snow Clearing Progress map will be updated every 24 hours following storm events that trigger snow plowing operations in priority sequence.

Always keep a safe distance from equipment for the safety of everyone. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
