MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to announce the Crescent Park Pathway Paving project is complete.

This year the City of Moose Jaw received $109,350 in federal funding assistance to pave and restore over 1,150 metres of pathway through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund, administered in Saskatchewan by PrairiesCan. The total cost of the project was $155,000, and the remaining funds came from the City’s 2022 pathway upgrades Capital budget.

The upgraded pathway system will greatly improve accessibility within the park and will enhance access to all amenities such as the Moose Jaw Public Library, Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool, Moose Jaw Tennis and Lawn Bowling Clubs, and the Crescent Park playground, spray park, amphitheatre, and Cenotaph.

The project began August 29, 2022, and was completed on September 28.
