Coteau St. East Traffic Restrictions For Agri-Food Industrial Park Infrastructure Work Begin May 31

MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw advises that work for Feeder Main installation, Water Main Replacement, Sanitary Sewer Replacement, and Storm Sewer Rehabilitation for the Agri-Food Industrial Park is underway.

Beginning Monday, May 31, Coteau St. East from Lorne Ave. to 9th Ave. SE, including the Coteau St./9th Ave. SE intersection, will be closed (weather permitting).

Beginning June 4 (weather permitting), the Coteau St./9th Ave. SE intersection will open, and the Coteau St./Lorne Ave. intersection will be temporarily closed.

Contractors have already begun work on the 300 block of Fairford St. East, and the road is closed to traffic. The intersections of Fairford St. East and 3rd Ave. NE and 4th Ave. NE remain open to traffic.

The intersection of Fairford St. East and 8th Avenue NE is also closed to traffic through June 4, 2021 (weather permitting) to allow contractors to prepare for Horizontal Directional Drilling related to Feeder Main installation.

Associated projects will occur between the 400 and 800 blocks of Fairford Street East throughout the 2021 construction season.

The City asks all drivers to obey signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
