MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw has permanently closed the Coteau St. East bridge to vehicular traffic.

The City has recently completed condition assessments of the bridge through a structural engineering consultant.  Evaluations of the 110 year-old structure, completed this year, have revealed that bridge conditions have significantly deteriorated to the point that they now pose an unacceptable risk to vehicular traffic.

The City has placed concrete road blocks to prevent vehicular access across the bridge.

Pedestrian access is still accessible at this time.
