
City Snow Clearing Operations Update

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw continues to execute snow clearing operations.
As of Tuesday afternoon (November 10), crews were working on Priority 2 roads. Due to some mechanical issues, Priority 2 streets are expected to be completed tomorrow. At that point, crews will begin on Priority 3 roads and anticipate finishing Priority 3 and 4 roads by end of day Friday, November 13.
Based on contractor availability, the majority of snow hauling will begin Sunday, November 15, though crews will begin removing snow from 1st Avenue NW on Wednesday, November 11.
The City also advises that the Thunderbird Viaduct (4th Avenue Bridge) will be closed between 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Friday, November 13 for snow clearing operations.
The City of Moose Jaw asks all motorists to stay a safe distance behind all heavy equipment, and asks you to exercise caution in winter driving conditions.
