Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw continues to execute snow clearing operations.

As of Tuesday afternoon (November 10), crews were working on Priority 2 roads. Due to some mechanical issues, Priority 2 streets are expected to be completed tomorrow. At that point, crews will begin on Priority 3 roads and anticipate finishing Priority 3 and 4 roads by end of day Friday, November 13.

Based on contractor availability, the majority of snow hauling will begin Sunday, November 15, though crews will begin removing snow from 1^st Avenue NW on Wednesday, November 11.

The City also advises that the Thunderbird Viaduct (4^th Avenue Bridge) will be closed between 12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Friday, November 13 for snow clearing operations.

The City of Moose Jaw asks all motorists to stay a safe distance behind all heavy equipment, and asks you to exercise caution in winter driving conditions.
